Biography

Duygu Dülger completed her secondary education at TED Ankara College in 2001 and graduated from Başkent University Faculty of Law in 2006. As a Jean Monnet scholar, she completed an LLM in Human Rights Law at Queen Mary, University of London, in 2009–2010.

She received her doctorate in public law from Marmara University in 2019 with a dissertation titled “Bilişim Teknolojilerindeki Gelişmelerin Anayasal Fonksiyonlar Üzerindeki Dönüştürücü Etkisi” (Transformational Impact of the Developments In Information Technologies on Constitutional Functions). During her doctoral studies, she spent 2016 as an Erasmus visiting doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law of the University of Münster.

She completed her legal traineeship in 2006–2007 and has been an attorney at law since 2007; between 2007 and 2013 she practised as an independent lawyer registered with the Ankara and Istanbul Bar Associations. She began her academic career in 2014 as a research assistant in the Department of Constitutional Law at Marmara University Faculty of Law. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Constitutional Law at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Law.
